Samplephonics have released a free virtual instrument containing multi sampled sounds from the huge organ based in Leeds Town Hall, United Kingdom.

It comes with 3.2GB of sounds, 6 organ presets with separately sampled pedal and key presets and multiple round robin layers.

This release is to mark a new imprint of Samplephonics known as Sonas, who will be releasing a range of virtual acoustic instruments over the next few months.

  • Music segments are handled differently than speech segments: natural dynamics are retained

Three (and a half) filter-bands arranged in a classic Low/Mid/High semi-parametric layout offer fast and intuitive access to four distinct EQ modes, each representing a set of distinct EQ curves and behaviors. An elaborate auto gain option automatically compensates for changes of perceived loudness during EQ operation. Optionally, SlickEQ allows to exclusively process either the stereo sum or stereo difference (i.e. “stereo width”) without additional sum/difference encoding.
