Apple has released major updates to its Logic Pro X audio recording and editing software for macOS and the lighter-but-free GarageBand app for iOS, introducing big new features and improving compatibility between the two apps. A more minor update to GarageBand for macOS, which includes no major new features but compatibility updates for the iOS version, has also been released.

It comes with 3.2GB of sounds, 6 organ presets with separately sampled pedal and key presets and multiple round robin layers.

This release is to mark a new imprint of Samplephonics known as Sonas, who will be releasing a range of virtual acoustic instruments over the next few months.

You can now change the developer/manufacturer name and use a much more logical workflow orientated layout. You could, for instance, arrange by the type of effect, and we even allow you to go further by making multi layers with sub folders. This gives you the ability to create hierarchies such as; “Compressor > Multi-band” and “Compressor > Single-band”, so you have full control over how YOU want your plugins organized.
