Waves and Abbey Road Studios present the J37 tape saturation plugin, a precision model of the very machine used to record many of the greatest masterpieces in modern music. With a variety of user-adjustable controls including Tape Speed, Bias, Noise, Saturation, Wow and Flutter, the Waves: Abbey Road J37 faithfully recreates the inimitable sonic signature of the original machine. In addition to the J37 itself, three exclusive oxide tape formulas have been modeled. Specially developed by EMI during the ‘60s and ‘70s, each formula has its own unique frequency response and harmonic distortion behavior. In order to push the envelope even further, a comprehensive Tape Delay unit has been added to complement those warm tones.
The Waves: Abbey Road J37 tape emulation plugin will bring stunning analog warmth to your digital recordings, delivering a level of hardware realism never before experienced “in the box.”

Hark back to the heyday of classic rock and one instrument stands above the rest, a 350lb behemoth that would forever change the way we think about making music. At the heart of this monster was an array of tape machines, one per note on the attached keyboard, each playing a uniquely recorded sound. With only 8 seconds of tape per key and a cumbersome frame this machine had its limitations but was nonetheless impressive for its time, boasting a multitimbral and truly polyphonic ‘engine’. Instantly made famous by the Beatles hit ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ and used by countless others including The Moody Blues, Rolling Stones, and prog rock legends Yes, this was the ‘must-have’ sound of the 60’s. While its use fell out of fashion the implications it made have become fundamental to modern music production.
32 Lives is a 32-bit to 64-bit Audio-Units plug-ins adapter.
Ample Guitar T aim to bring the Taylor 714 Guitar sound to your studio. This demo is to give you an idea of how it sounds played in keyboard mode played on midi piano.
A foldback distortion unit that’s unashamedly unsubtle – use it to make your sounds (particularly those of the bass and lead variety) scream. Operation is simple, being based around just Drive and Output Gain controls.
Developed in association with Eddie Kramer, Tape, Tubes & Transistors features three meticulously-modeled vintage plugins: Kramer Master Tape, HLS Channel, and PIE Compressor. Together, they recreate Eddie’s golden audio chain, which he used to record musical icons like Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles. Now, the legendary sound of London’s Olympic Studios can be yours—with Tape, Tubes & Transistors.
DC1A is the little brother of the compression monster DC8C. Soundwise it’s comparable to the PUNCH mode in DC8C. It’s kind of a mixture of classic opto and FET designs.
